The dowels help align each piece during gluing and provide additional structural stiffness and support. I strive to provide most dowels, but some are too small to be feasibly 3D printed and have enough strength to work.
3D PRINTED KIT DETAILS *************************** Parts are printed in white PLA+ filament with scaffolding supports removed.
3D PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS ************************************** I recommend printing the parts with three perimeter walls, 10% gyroid infill, at 0.2mm layer height. I also recommend using PLA+ filament as it is much stronger than PLA filament and requires less material to develop strength.
CONTACT AND MISCELLANEOUS ************************************* I did my best to position the seams to be hidden easily or easily sandable. I also positioned the slices to allow for preservation of the fine model details when you 3D print the pieces.
