There are 4.25 mm notches (for 4mm dowels) in the pieces to help with alignment of the pieces.

3D PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS

I recommend printing the parts with three perimeter walls, 10% gyroid infill, at 0.2mm layer height. I also recommend using PLA+ filament as it is much stronger than PLA filament and requires less material to develop strength.
