There are 1.25mm dowel slots (for a metal pin shaft or 1mm dowel) to help align pieces during gluing and provide additional structural stiffness and support.

There are 2.5mm dowel slots (for a toothpick or 2mm wooden dowels) to help align pieces during gluing and provide additional structural stiffness and support.

There are 4.25 mm (for 4mm or 5/32" wooden dowels) dowel slots to help align pieces during gluing and provide additional structural stiffness and support.

There are 13.25 mm (for 1/2" wooden dowels) dowel slots to help align each piece during gluing and provide additional structural stiffness and support.

3D PRINTED KIT DETAILS

Parts are printed in white PLA+ filament with scaffolding supports removed. 

3D PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS

I recommend printing the parts with three perimeter walls, 10% gyroid infill, at 0.2mm layer height. I also recommend using PLA+ filament as it is much stronger than PLA filament and requires less material to develop strength.

I did my best to position the seams to be hidden easily or easily sandable. I also positioned the slices to allow for preservation of the fine model details when you 3D print the pieces.
