3D FILE DETAILS

There is a 17 mm diameter dowel slot (5/8" dowel) included in the handle portion to provide alignment during assembly and additional strength in the handle. The file also includes 4.25 mm dowel slots (for 4mm dowels) for alignment in the blade and thinner portions.

3D PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS

I recommend printing the parts with three perimeter walls, 10% gyroid infill, at 0.2mm layer height. I also recommend using PLA+ filament as it is much stronger than PLA filament and requires less material to develop strength.

I did my best to position the seams to be hidden easily or easily sandable. I also positioned the slices to allow for preservation of the fine model details when you 3D print the pieces.
